Sorry of delay in posting.
Cindy finished up 1st round of Chemo last weekend. We explored our options for a rehabilitation hospitals – a friend and I looked at one in Cambridge that looked promising and was covered by our HMO.

Tuesday Cindy developed a blood infection, a common issue with infusion ports and her multiple stomach fluid drain procedures.
For a couple of days she has been on heavy antibiotics to address the infection – which seem to be working well.

Cindy has been in hospital for 2 weeks this cycle, we are awaiting information from yesterday’s CT Scan as well as her updated billiruben levels. This data will help us (Cindy) decided the next phase of treatment. Cindy’s mom is visiting from Florida, coupled with friends and family we feel well supported. We remain hopeful we can improve Cindy’s quality of life with chemotherapy and rehabilitation.
