Cindy Status #1

Friends,

Cindy had been diagnosed with Colon Cancer (still awaiting official lab conformation). Cancer seems to have started in form of tumor currently blocking the lower end of her digestive tract. Due to the blockage we where sent to hospital directly after colonostopy on Friday.

The current plan is as follows:

• Decompress digestive tract prior to tumor removal surgery. We do not want colon to “perforate.”
• Surgery tentative scheduled for Monday evening
• 4-6 weeks of recovery prior to Chemo treatment
• Chemotherapy to address cancer

Cindy is uncomfortable but in good spirits. The lead Colon-Gasto Surgeon has treated numerous of these cases successfully and works with Oncologist on a regular basis. He came in today (Saturday) to meet with us and was pleased to see Cindy is “young,” in good health and has a positive attitude.
