Cindy and I have had multiple meetings her Oncologist and the Pain & Palliative Care Doctors. Cindy (with my support) has decided to discontinue Chemotherapy. Cindy/we feel Chemo will prolong the inevitable while further degrading her already unacceptable quality of life.

Cindy remains in the hospital, she will have her pain medications adjusted and a stomach catheter installed, to relieve fluid build up. Due to the degree of care Cindy requires she prefers a hospice setting verses a home hospice care situation.

I have toured two facilities and will visit two more tomorrow. We anticipate moving to hospice sometime this coming week. Please know, Cindy felt a great weight lift from her shoulders when she decided to discontinue Chemotherapy. Andy
